Puppy Vaccine Protocol
1st Puppy Visit – 6-8 wks) – DPC with no Lepto (1 injection)
Bordetella (Kennel Cough) Oral vaccine
2nd Puppy Visit – (9-11wks) – DPC with no Lepto (1 injection)
Bordetella (Kennel Cough) Oral Vaccine
3rd Puppy Visit – (12-14 wks) – DPC (1 injection)
Lepto vaccine (1 injection)
Lyme Vaccine (1 injection)
4th Puppy Visit - (16-18 wks) – DPC (1 injection)
Lepto vaccine booster (1 injection)
Lyme Vaccine booster (1 injection)
5th Puppy Visit – (18 wks and older) – *High risk Breeds DPC (1 injection)
Rabies vaccine (1 injection)
When you come in for the first time with your new pet you will receive an informational puppy kit that includes coupons, health record, brochures, free dose of heartgard, free dose of frontline, and nutritional consulting.
At the final vaccine visit we will talk to you about spay and neuter your pet, microchipping, continue monthly treatments of Heartworm, flea and tick prevention.
1 year and older booster on DPC, Lepto, Lymes, Rabies (3 injections), Bordetella (oral vaccine). Heartworm test (blood test just a few drops), fecal test (always bring a fresh stool sample).
2 years and older same booster vaccines as above, but the Rabies will be given every 3 years.
* High risks breeds require extra DPC because their immune system is more sensitive and slower to mature some of those breeds are: Rottweilers, German Shepherds, Pitbulls, Beagles, Bassett Hounds, Chihuahuas, Dobermans, Boxers just to name a few.
